This interlining is produced in the NetherlandsSupple horse hair canvas to sew into your garment (pad stitching)

Woven sew in horsehair interlining, made for interfacing in jackets and coats. It's raw materials are mostly natural therefore it's suitable for those with allergic reactions to polyesters (only 7% polyester in this horse hair)
Pad stitching is a tailors technique which gives shape and strength to jackets - it acts like the skeleton of a jacket
Garments like suits for men and women, tailored suits, blazers and jackets have a long lifespan when you use this technique with a good quality horse hair cloth like this one and a good woollen fabric, a sustainable way to make clothing

Horse hair cloth is no regular vilene interfacing

Horse hair cloth is not by the Vilene brand, Freudenberg Vilene interfacing is specialised in interlining for consumers and can be ironed on with a household iron. Horse Hair cloth is a real tailors product and therefore does not fall into the category of Vilene but is a interlining or interfacing

Composition of this supple horsehair canvas

This horse hair is made from natural materials, also suitable for people who are allergic to polyester because it is only about 7% synthetic

26% cotton - 52% viscose - 15% hair - 7 % synthetic

The cotton gives it body, the viscose is suppler and therefore gives the cloth a more supple feel. The hair provides it with the real horse hair feeling and gives it resilience
