Then a vilene interfacing samples and information folder can be very helpful. We sell all samples individually, both vilene interfacing samples and other interlinings such as horsehair canvas, Polyquick fusable interfacing, and bridal laminate.
Vilene interfacing also includes volume fleeces and creative interfacings. Because we sell them individually, you can order only the types you will actually use. If you mainly sew garments, bag interfacings are usually too stiff and therefore unnecessary. Volume fleece is also not something you use very often in clothing—mostly for winter coats or jackets. If you never make those, why buy samples you won’t use?

Our samples are approximately 10 × 10 cm and are supplied in a small folder. Each sample has a label with the product name. In our shop, you’ll find the info for every type of vilene interfacing and interfacing with every interlining. (in the attachment or the large product text) The info includes ironing instructions, composition, washing instructions, and more

Testing with vilene interfacing samples
How useful is it to know what vilene interfacing does to your fabric? Order several samples and fuse small pieces onto a few different fabrics that you use regularly. This is very handy as a reference in your sample binder: once you’ve tested them, it’s easier to compare a new fabric with previously used ones, making the choice of vilene interfacing much simpler. You can immediately see what it did on a similar fabric. This way, you train yourself to understand how vilene interfacing reinforces your fabric
