Marking - drawing on fabric
You can draw on fabric with lots of different marking tools, what you use is personal. Everyone knows tailors chalk. Those square white pieces of chalk and they come in colours too.
Tailors chalk pencil is the next step or we use tailors chalk powder in a chaco liner in different colours and white. All these types of tailors chalk are available here.
Marking pens are blue or purple. The blue can be removed with water hence the name aqua pen. The purple ones dissapear with light and are called vanishing pens or fantom pens. When choosing a vanishing pen please note that the markings dissapear quickly. You can bring them back a few times... There's aslo vanishing chalk of chemical chalk, that is removed with the iron or steam
Textile carbon paper and tracing wheel
These are as old as time and are also used for marking. Carbon paper has many names, transferpaper, copypaper etc. We sell it from Clover because it had 5 colours per pack and is of a fine quality.
Without a tracing wheel carbon paper is no use. Our tracing wheel has a plastic ergonomic handle, the wheel is made of metal and has slightly blunted points. This one you buy for life
On order we also provide a tracing wheel with sharp points. This one if really sharp so keep it under lock and key...
