This firm collar linen is a high-quality sew-in interfacing canvas made primarily from linen. As the name suggests, it is specially designed to reinforce collars, giving them structure and long-lasting shape. It is also perfectly suited for plastrons (interlining for coats and jackets), as well as hats, caps, and bags.

Use this collar linen interfacing to add resilience and stability to your project. Simply stitch it between layers of fabric to create a strong, shape-retaining result. This product is sew-in only (non-fusible).

Important

Please do not confuse collar linen with collar felt.
Collar felt is used in coats and jackets as the underside of a collar instead of fabric and is visible when the collar is turned up. Collar linen interfacing, however, is inserted between fabric layers and remains hidden inside the garment.
