Why 135 x 220 cm?
If you want to make a jacket, 220 cm length is sufficient.
The 135 cm width is almost fabric width, allowing you to cut the sleeves across the width.
With volume fleece, there is no grain direction; you place your pattern pieces next to each other and position the sleeve slightly diagonal underneath. Your pattern piece can then be up to about 85 cm long at most.
If you are making a longer jacket or your pattern pieces don’t fit side by side on the fabric, then order the other Bamboo Mix in 270 x 220 cm size...
(Of course, you fold the Bamboo Mix in half, so it’s 67.5 cm where both pieces must fit.) If in doubt, buy the larger piece!
Processing instructions for the best results
To ensure your creation is perfect, we recommend the following steps:
- Pre-shrinking: Before use, soak the fleece in hot water, allow it to become fully saturated, and then let it dry thoroughly
- Attaching: This fleece is easy to sew, both by hand and by machine (quilting)
- Quilting: For optimal results, maintain a quilting distance of 10 to 20 cm
