With this thread you can sew buttonholes en topstitch your seams. It is nm. 30, the thickest thread available in stores. For companies there is even thicker thread but most household sewingmachines can not sew with it, you will need an industrial sewingmachine for that 

Use topstitch sewing machine needles when sewing with this thread, they have larger eyes which helps the thread through the eye. If you have a cordonnet bobbin case or a bobbin case for thick threads use that when you want to sew with the same thread at the top and the bottom
