The open end (separating) zip is mostly used in coats, jackets and sportswear. Would you like to be able to open your zip from the bottom to? Order a two way zip.

Spiral means the teeth of the zip are "woven" through the tape like a spiral. It's finer than the block tooth zip and therefore more used in clothing thats a little more formal.

The spiral zip has plastic teeth and a serparating block on the bottom. The slider is made of metal and is painted the same colour as the tape and tooth of the zip.
