At the bottom hem of mens trousers you will find an extra tape inside. Mostly in trousers which belong to a suit. Bottom hem tape is 15mm wide, mostly made from polyester and has a reinforced edge on one side. When you look at it closely you will see slanting lines, that is the twill binding that gives it it's strength
